Q: What Sport(s) do you coach?
A: Boys Varsity Tennis, I previously have coached Girls JV Tennis, Boys JV Tennis and JH Boys Tennis. Q: How many years have you been coaching? How Many years at JPS? A: I have been a coach for 10 years, all here at JHS for a total of 17 seasons.
Q: What coaching awards or accomplishments you have received? A: None, so far... Q: What is one of your favorite memories of playing or coaching?
A: My favorite memory as a coach was watching our 1 singles qualify for State Finals in 2023. He had worked hard for several years to build to that point. Watching him achieve that goal and how the team celebrated with him was very special and cool to see. Q: What is a goal of yours for the 2026-27 school year?
A: My goal for this year has been to reframe our team's success around improvement rather than wins and losses. We have been using the phrase "Beat Yesterday" to highlight the improvement that we can make on a daily basis regardless of match results and who we are facing on the court. Q: What is your Favorite Sports or motivation movie? A: Remember the Titans or Miracle.
Q: What is your favorite post contest(game) meal? A: Five Guys for a Burger, Fries and a Coke. |
