We appreciate all of our families taking the time to come and connect with us last week. We know what a positive impact it makes on a students' success when home and school work together and have open, consistent, and clear communication. Also thank you so much for all of the donations for our staff meals during those long days, we are grateful for all of the support.

#TeamBursley Halloween Celebrations are on Friday October 31, 2025 in the afternoon.

We are excited to celebrate Halloween at Bursley.  Classroom celebrations will start in the afternoon on Friday Oct. 31, your classroom teacher will have specific details.  Classroom teachers will be coordinating volunteers during the party, all volunteers have to have a volunteer form on file and approved in the office.  We will do a building wide costume parade at 3:10pm, visitors are able to come and see the parade, if weather allows we will go outside to allow for better viewing, using the path shown below. Pictures are usually better outdoors than in our hallways.  

JPS Halloween Costume Guidelines

- Absolutely no weapons, real or plastic

- No clown costumes

- No costumes that depict bloody, violent, or gory situations

- No costumes depicting language or graphics outside of school dress code

Costumes are subject to administrator discretion.  Students dressed inappropriately will be asked to change.  If a student is wearing a mask, please make sure they can see well.  Have your child bring their costume to school rather than wear it.
